Reset Watch stores your email address, subscription status, alert preferences, confirmation timestamps and email delivery records to provide Codex reset alerts.

Email delivery

Emails are sent using Resend. Your email address and the message are shared with Resend for delivery. We do not sell your email address or use it for unrelated marketing.

Your choice

Alerts begin only after you confirm your email. Unconfirmed signals require a separate opt-in; existing subscribers receive official updates only. To change your selection, submit your email and new selection on the homepage, then confirm the change by email. Your current preferences stay in effect until you confirm. Every alert includes an unsubscribe link. After unsubscribing, your address remains marked as unsubscribed so future alerts exclude it.

A preference cookie remembers your website language on this browser.

Abuse prevention

Subscription requests are rate-limited using a short-lived hash derived from your IP address. Raw IP addresses are not stored in our subscription database. Hosting and email providers may retain operational logs.

Website analytics

We use Umami Cloud to measure page visits, referring websites, approximate visitor countries, and site interactions. Analytics data is hosted in the United States and retained for up to six months. We do not include your email address or confirmation links in analytics events.

Account access

We do not request your OpenAI credentials or read your account usage. Public announcements do not confirm the state of your personal account.
